What Is PCOS?
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a Hormonal condition which is prevalent in women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may experience irregular or prolonged menstrual cycles or have elevated amounts of androgens, or male hormones. The ovaries might produce a lot of tiny fluid-filled sacs (follicles) and fail to release eggs regularly.
You might experience irregular or no menstruation, and you might develop cysts that resemble a "string of pearls". It is a common cause of Infertility in women. There are no known causes of PCOS.
